Petite Floret Dahlia Tuber -By Famous Meadow
Petite Floret Dahlia Tuber from our regenerative flower farm in the Hudson Valley.
These dahlias were grown from Petite Floret’s Dahlia seed on our farm. A large percentage of these dahlia are either collaretes or anemones. Colors range in pastel tones, including peach, apricot, dusty rose, lavender, sunbleached raspberry and buttercream. Each Variety is entirely unique and grows a magical treasure from the heart of the dahlia world. I am mesmerized by growing these and I am beyond excited to share them with you. These flowers range in size and height and all have an iridescent wash.
Each tuber is guaranteed to be true to variety and has at least one visible eye.
Selecting the Several Tuber option gives you more of the same variety, which is wonderful for having multiple of the same variety.
Entire Clusters refer to the entire stock of a particular Dahlia cluster, this Tuber Cluster is the only one of its kind and includes the entire stock.
These dahlias were grown from Petite Floret’s Dahlia seed on our farm. Be sure to plant tubers after your last frost date. Until then, store tubers away from freezing temperatures, heat and light, until ready to plant.
Plant tubers several inches down and 12-18” apart. Once planted do not water until shoots have emerged. Once 8-12” tall pinch back to encourage branching and more blooms. Most tuber varieties require staking or corraling.
